Project Team and Qualifications
Thomas Hamilton, AIA Principal Architect
Tom is a licensed Architect in approximately 25 states and has worked
under a special license in Toronto, Canada. Tom graduated from The
Catholic University School of Architecture in Washington, D.C.,
and also studied interior design at the University of Maryland,
College Park, MD. He has worked with independent owners, as well
as large franchise groups and corporate clients.
For 25 years Tom has developed and continues to find new and better
ways to design hospitality projects. He is ever aware of how important
a line item budget relates to creating construction documents, which
results in a project staying within the cost parameters established
for the project. Tom is instrumental in developing project budgets
and requiring his staff adhere to preserving these budgets, meaning
they are not to design outside of the final agreed guidelines.
Tom will work with the client in developing the plan and concept,
not assigning the design to another until it is approved and ready
for document production. He will continue to meet with the client
throughout the project and present the plans for review at all stages
of completion.
